Last Monday I reached a 1000kms. I had been looking to reach this goal for a while. Once I did I wasn't sure what the next step should be to keep me motivated. Having taken a few days off running I still have my yearly goal, but I find shorter goals are more encouraging. So I will try and keep my pace of 100kms/mth. This week I ran Sunday and Monday and I feel a little cheap, they were only 3km runs. I started getting mild shin splints so I didn't want to push it. Last night I did my version of ab ripper from p90x.. there are about 4 routines out of the 20min session I can't do... yet... then again 2 I will never be able to do because I don't think I can bend like that.
I will attempt a 5k tonight see how it goes. I also need to eat more I'm starving after I have lunch the past few days.. and I'm gaining weight which isn't the direction I want to go.. I think that's mostly due to the ice cream I've been having at night..
